    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;For what it's worth, the bug and fix that are linked by bubba also worked for our 10.3 web adaptor. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Our symptom was that when we would access &lt;A href="http://localhost/arcgis/webadaptor" rel="nofollow" target="_blank" title="http://localhost/arcgis/webadaptor"&gt;http://localhost/arcgis/webadaptor&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp; in order to configure it to one of our sites, we would get the error listed above. With the exception that our web adaptor is installed in a different directory on \\D.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once full permissions were assigned to the ArcGISWebAdaptorAppPool user to the config file within the web adaptor folder no problems were reported .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Configuring the ArcGIS Web Adaptor 10.2.2 error message</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hello everyone,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am upgrading a Windows 2012 server with ArcGIS 10.2.1 to ArcGIS 10.2.2.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I was able to upgraded first ArcGis Server 10.2.1 to ArcGis 10.2.2&amp;nbsp; and the ArcGis Client 10.2.1 to ArcGis Client 10.2.2.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am also trying to upgrade&amp;nbsp; ArcGIS Web Adaptor 10.2.1&amp;nbsp; to&amp;nbsp; ArcGIS Web Adaptor 10.2.2. For that first I uninstalled&amp;nbsp; ArcGIS Web Adaptor 10.2.1&amp;nbsp; and the installed&amp;nbsp; ArcGIS Web Adaptor 10.2.2.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This is my problem:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;When I run the&amp;nbsp; configuration for the Web Adaptor in ArcGIS 10.2.2 &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://localhost/arcgis/webadaptor"&gt;http://localhost/arcgis/webadaptor&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; I get the following error message:&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;�??Access to the path 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\arcgis\WebAdaptor.config' is denied.�?�&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am using my own account and I am an administrator in this workstation and I have full access to the folder: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\arcgis\WebAdaptor&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://support.esri.com/cn/knowledgebase/techarticles/detail/40406"&gt;http://support.esri.com/cn/knowledgebase/techarticles/detail/40406&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thank you&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
