I am upgrading from ArcGIS 10.3.1 to 10.5.1. I've learned that Raster Mosaic Datasets (RMDs) are not backwards compatible where an RMD created in 10.5.1 can not be opened in 10.3.1.

I have the same type of question about address locators created in file gdbs. In some limited testing I have found that I can use an address locator built in 10.5.1 in 10.3.1 so address locators do appear to be backward compatible.

As such, has anyone found address locators to not be backward compatible where you would need new address locators created in 10.5.1 not working in a previous ArcGIS version such as 10.3.1?

I didn't find any restriction as such in case of Address Locators.

I have the same type of question about address locators created in file gdbs. In some limited testing I have found that I can use an address locator built in 10.5.1 in 10.3.1 so address locators do appear to be backward compatible.

You mentioned that you created Address Locators in File gdbs at 10.5.x.
