ArcGIS Server 10.7.1: What does the “request id” field in the “view logs messages” indicate for?

I couldn’t figure out what does the “request id” field in the “view logs messages” indicate for. Is it the ID of the machine at which the web service is consumed?

Request IDs are added to some operations so you can track the request through all stages of it getting completed:
