    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;All&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; i have started noticing a very peculiar behavior when overwriting existing services from ArcMAP, please see below:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL style="margin-top: 0in;"&gt;&lt;LI style="margin-left: 0in;"&gt;Manually publish map and build cache for layers 0-4 = &lt;SPAN style="background: lime;"&gt;SUCCESS&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI style="margin-left: 0in;"&gt;Manually overwrite map service, keep existing cache enabled = &lt;SPAN style="background: lime;"&gt;SUCCESS&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI style="margin-left: 0in;"&gt;Manually overwrite map service, keep existing cache disabled = &lt;SPAN style="background: red;"&gt;FAILURE, ERROR: 001369, fails at 10min&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin-left: .5in;"&gt;Stop arcgis server&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin-left: .5in;"&gt;Start arcgis server&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin-left: .5in;"&gt;Delete&amp;nbsp;Service&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin-left: .5in;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; NOTE: this is the only way to remove &lt;SPAN&gt;Service&lt;/SPAN&gt; as it is stuck in an administrative process that never finishes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin-left: .5in;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; NOTE: once &lt;SPAN&gt;Service&lt;/SPAN&gt; was deleted, 1 zombie arcsoc remained for &lt;SPAN&gt;Service&lt;/SPAN&gt; (this was probably the rogue administrative process)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin-left: .5in;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL style="margin-top: 0in;"&gt;&lt;LI style="margin-left: 0in;"&gt;Manually publish map and build cache for layers 0-4 = &lt;SPAN style="background: lime;"&gt;SUCCESS&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI style="margin-left: 0in;"&gt;Manually overwrite map service, keep existing cache enabled = &lt;SPAN style="background: lime;"&gt;SUCCESS&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI style="margin-left: 0in;"&gt;Manually overwrite map service, keep existing cache disabled = &lt;SPAN style="background: red;"&gt;FAILURE, ERROR: 001369, fails at 10min&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this behavior is seeing repeatedly within 10.5.1 and im not sure if other have seen this as well or if ESRI is aware of this behavior?
