Why Can't I Enable Versioning?

I'm using Arc 10.5 (Catalog/Map)

I've created my enterprise geodatabase, I've loaded data into the geodatabase, and now when I go to enable versioning the options are not able to be selected?

How do I register this data as versioned?

Hi Kyle,

Are you the data owner of the dataset? The option to register data as versioned is only available to the data owner.

If you are the data owner, do you have a Standard or Advanced license? You cannot register data as versioned with a Basic license.

I realized my issue after I submitted the question. I signed in as the DBO and now I'm able to register it as versioned.
