Why can't you have all 83 systems in 1 geometric network? Then generating each diagram is just an initial select by attribute (system=1, system=2 etc...) and generate the diagram. You can generate using our custom query approach, but it technically is much more difficult to configure. There is more information and a video on that approach available on resources.arcgis.com under the communities section and then schematics.

I am using Microsoft Visio 2013 to create Process Flow and Block Flow Diagrams (Schematics) of piping systems inside our Plant. I would like to use ArcGIS Schematics with our Enterprise Geodatabase (SQL Server). We are running on 10.2.2. ArcGIS Schematics requires that the data be in a geometric network; I am working with 83 different piping systems (process streams) each requires its own schematic, creating 83 geometric networks is just too cumbersome to manage. Is there a way to use ArcGIS Schematics without a geometric network?
