cannot manage arcgis server 10 from desktop 10.2?

Hi there.

I'm having trouble connecting to an arcgis server 10 from a 10.2 desktop for administration purposes.

When creating the connection I get this error:

We were unable to connecto to: http://servername/instacename.
Error: No resource could be found at that address.

Does this mean desktop 10.2 can't manage a 10.0 server?

You cannot manage ArcGIS Server services from different versions. You can only use the services (e.g. You can create a user connection to AGS v10.0 from desktop 10.2 and add it to ArcMap - this type of connection cannot manage the mapservice).
