I have gone through the installation of ArcGIS Server 10.1 SP1 and all seemed to go smoothly. However now that it is installed I have discovered that the Web Adaptor is installed on port 6080. I guess this must be a default???
So my Rest services are now showing up on http://servername:6080/arcgis/rest/services

How can I change the port of that Web Adaptor to port 80 so that outside access is available to the rest services?

I am running Windows Server 2012 with ArcGIS Server 10.1 SP1

Thanks,
Charlie

ArcGIS Server includes a built-in web server which uses port 6080.

You can also install the web adaptor product which I believe defaults to port 80. Installing the web adaptor does not disable the built-in web server.

http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/About_the_ArcGIS_Web_Adaptor/01540000028p000000/

Richard is correct. If you go to http://localhost/arcgis/rest/services - that is using the Web Adaptor.
