Though there maybe other reasons as well.</P><P></P><P></P><P>- An existing web.config in the root of the IIS folder (by default c:\inetpub\wwwroot) that conficts with the web adaptors web.config. If this is the case, you can try temporarily moving the existing one out of c:\inetpub\wwwroot out of the way.
