issues with 10.1 Final connecting to 10.1 Pre

I am having issues with 10.1 Final connecting to 10.1 Pre. I have some services that I am not ready to migrate so, I figured I would test this out and 10.1 Final keeps giving errors. Is this expected?

Error is pretty generic. Cannot connect to this Server.

I have also seen code:404, Could not find resource or operation 'PublicKey' on the system, No resource could be found at that address.

Trying both:
servername/Adaptor
servername:6080/arcgis

I am having exactly the same issue. The error is:

We were unable to connecto to http://aupdcwpesr02/arcgis (also tried with /admin after arcgis)
Error: ERROR: code 404, Could not find resource or operation 'publicKey' on the system., No resources could be found at that address.

Did you ever resolve this? Does anyone know how to resolve this - Again it is 10.1 Desktop final to 10.1 Server pre-release.

The solution is to update your server to 10.1, where both client and server are running on the same release. In this case both on 10.1.
