topic Issue with Time Enabled Mosaic Dataset Overviews in ArcGIS Enterprise Questions

Hi,

I am having an issue with displaying a time-enabled mosaic dataset that has overviews built for it. Let me clarify my process quickly first.

I created a single mosaic dataset, and added about 800 raster images with a field called acquisition date. I then created overviews for this mosaic dataset.

The issue is that the overviews themselves dont have the time enabled data field, so that when i try to enable time, nothing gets displayed. I know the documentation recommends building a bunch of seperate mosaic datasets and then one master mosaic dataset, but there is no logical grouping like that for this particular dataset.

I am assuming that there isn't any logical way to do this, since the overviews are not based on each individual raster, but i thought i would post this up here and get some advice on how to best serve a dataset such as this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes I get the same thing. I would have thought the overviews would automatically reference the Primary image for that Date/Time, but alas no.
