However, everything seems oriented toward selecting and launching &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;on-demand&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; EC2 instances, not &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;reserved&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; instances.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="margin-bottom: 1em; color: #242729; font-family: Arial, 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, sans-serif; background-color: rgba(248, 248, 248, 0.6);"&gt;Does anyone know how to get started with ArcServer AMIs on reserved EC2 instances?       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;You make the on demand instance a reserved instance after launching the instance via AWS Console.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; You just need to add the correct instance size and availability zone when you sign up for the reserved instance.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; AWS will automatically assign the reserved instance based on the instance type and availability zone you have spun up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
