How to fix DBMS error code: 7 ( ArcSDE 10.1)

Experts,

I am facing a startup error as below for ArcSDE 10.1. Previously this was running.

Check Oracle connection,$TNS_ADMIN,disk space, etc/service , $SDEHOME/etc/dbinit.sde

[install@mysrv etc]$ $SDEHOME/bin/sdemon -o start -p sde

Could not start ArcSDE -- Check Network, $SDEHOME disk, DBMS settings and dbinit.sde.

Any clue?

Resolved .

Oracle password got expired for SDE. Came across the warning for resetting the password

while connecting the database with SDE user.

but strange is I tried with sqlplus it didnot claim the same.

Anyway fix the issue 🙂
