It´s possible to use ArcGIS Server without Portal installed?

Hi everybody!

I´m new in ArcGIS Enterprise! I would like to know if possible use ArcGIS Server without Portal...If possible, what´s the mains differences?

It is "possible" but not recommended as you will not have all the capabilities that are part of the full ArcGIS Enterprise deployment.

While this is an older technical article, it does help convey why we encourage users to adopt the "Web GIS" pattern over just installing a stand-alone Server site, https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-3385
