idea Adding fields to Hosted Feature Layer should be visible by default in ArcGIS Enterprise Ideas

When adding fields to a hosted feature layer in Portal, the fields are not visible by default from the Data Tab within portal. After adding a field, a user must Select Options > Show/Hide Columns and turn on the newly added fields. Kind of annoying since the user is adding the fields for the purpose of using them.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for your idea. All fields should be visible by default. May I ask the version of ArcGIS Enterprise you are using? As well, are you seeing this behavior with hosted feature layers and/or are you using hosted feature layer views? Create hosted feature layer views—Portal for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Enterprise

Hilary
