Adding an option to upload a .csv file to Create List

Under the hosted feature layer Data tab and Fields tab, users can create a list or a domain that will show up as a drop down list in different Esri application.

Currently, there is no option to upload a list; only adding them manually - one by one.

I found a work-around solution detailed in this community post, but I feel adding an option to upload a CSV file in the menu shown above is not a big lift for Esri.

Thanks for sharing your idea. I think you'll be happy to hear that the ability to create a list from a .csv file was introduced in ArcGIS Online last June. It will be coming in a future update to Enterprise.

also, should I delete this "idea" then?

It will likely be in 12.0 later this year

@EmilyGeo oh wow, OK. My organization is far away from that upgrade. I guess I'll stick to the work around for now.
