Select projection when publishing hosted feature layers

Please allow users to select a coordinate system to use when creating a new hosted feature service. Currently we are forced to use Web Mercator when creating new hosted feature layers through the web UI in ArcGIS for Portal. We deal with small local datasets and would prefer being able to use our local coordinate system when publishing new content. This way our hosted content matches our enterprise geodatabase coordinate system.

@Joshua-Young It's good idea to have an option instead of just going with defualt coordinate system.

...and an option to specify a custom default coordinate system for all users in Portal for ArcGIS would also be great (Org->Settings->...) as described here Set default coordinate system to use when creating... - Esri Community

Great idea on both accounts. It's quite frustrating to try and publish data from a GDB with a national projection defined, only to find that Enterprise doesn't support it and just reverts to Web Mercator. Our central GIS team publishes everything in our national projection - it would be very useful if hosted services could match this.
