idea Visibility levels for pop-ups in ArcGIS Enterprise Ideas

This is specific to Map Viewer. When I make certain web maps, I want multiple layers to be visible at, for example, a continental scale, but I only want users to be able to click data and open pop-ups for one layer. For instance, if I want my users to only be able to click and view a pop-up for a point feature layer but still be able to have visibility for several reference polygon feature layers, I would like them to be able to click the map and only get the pop-up for the points but not the polygons. When the user zooms in, I want them to be able to click and view pop-ups for both points and the polygons.

Essentially, this would mean having a "visibility" setting for the pop-ups themselves and not just visibility ranges for the layers as a whole. I have not found a way to do this so if it is possible, I'd love to know the solution. If not, having control of pop-up visibility ranges would be a fantastic addition to Map Viewer.

Make a copy of your polygon layer that is only visible at the scales when you want the pop-up visible. You can make the polygon display 100% transparent and hide the layer from the legend.

Bernie.
