Default Visualization: Set Default Form

I feel kind of bad because I've suggested other people use this workflow in the past, and then this morning I actually tried to do it and it's impossible on both AGOL and Enterprise.

I'd like to be able to set Forms for Field Maps from the default visualization tab of the item details page.

For example, if I have a layer that's going in 10 different web maps (e.g. each user makes his own map to go into the field), I want to 1) make sure that each user is collecting the same data and 2) only configure the forms once.

Please add in the ability to set default forms on the visualization tab of Item details.

A bit of a tangent, but on AGOL you can save the form with the layer using Field Maps designer. This would allow you to author the forms once for use in multiple maps.
