idea One Way Collaboration With Non Versioned/Archived Datasource in ArcGIS Enterprise Ideas

In trying to setup collaboration between ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online and we found there is a limitation that you have to turn on Sync, on a service reading from an Enterprise Geodatabase in order to use the data in a collaboration. This means the source data either has to be versioned or archived which for us is a large restriction for getting our data into a collaboration.

If you have no intent of updating the source data and are strictly reading from the source to create a copy in ArcGIS Online, there is no reason sync is required on the service and thus no reason to version or archive the data. All you should require is a editor tracking (or fields that can be used to determine changes since last update) and unique ID like a GlobalId.

Please remove the requires sync restriction on a collaboration if the collaboration is set to only go one way.
