Our organization is completely in the AWS cloud.

We do regular Disaster Recovery exercises.

Enterprise Servers are on windows aws ec2s instances.

Our enterprise Databases are in postgres aurora (aws database as a service).

When we stand up a copy of our ESRI prod enterprise in our DR region, all the GIS services referencing SDE database break, since all the database references are pointing to the PROD env.

The idea here is to find fast and easy way to update all these services to point to the DR database instance.

Current Process ESRI recommends (Not a very customer friendly way😞

Register DR datastore

Republish or overwrite each service so the database reference can be updated.
