Good day:

Here is my idea: Please add snapping functionality to ArcGIS Earth. This should be a basic requirement when creating or editing a feature. It would also be a big one-up on Google Earth's head😁.

Yes, snapping would be an awesome addition. Something as simple as holding Ctrl while drawing a feature would be very beneficial.

Currently snapping is not supported for 3D environments in the ArcGIS Maps SDK for .NET, which ArcGIS Earth is built on. It could take some time before we can implement this functionality at the app level.

Snapping is supported for 2D environments in the SDK. Would adding the ability to change between 3D and 2D view for editing meet your need? We are exploring some alternative solutions and would love to hear your feedback. @NWhittaker @BryanAustin
