idea Group Layer behavior in TOC in ArcGIS Earth Ideas

ArcGIS Online users can consult their Web Maps in different ways : ArcGIS Pro, web browser, ArcGIS Earth, etc. However, they must deal with a different approach of Group Layers when using ArcGIS Earth.

Let's say we have this Group Layer in a Web Map :

Group Layer (not visible)

Feature Layer 1 (visible)

Feature Layer 2 (visible)

Feature Layer 3 (visible)

In a web browser Map Viewer or in ArcGIS Pro, the 3 Feature Layers won't be visible – unless we change the visibility of the Group Layer to see them. In ArcGIS Earth, because the 3 Feature Layers are visible in the Web Map, the whole Group Layer will be visible.

In other word, the visibilityMode is different :

Web browser/ArcGIS Pro : independent - each child layer manages its visibility independent from other layers

ArcGIS Earth : inherited - each child layer's visibility matches the GroupLayer’s visibility

Could the visibilityMode in the ArcGIS Earth TOC be switched to inherited by default? In my own opinion, it would bring consistency with the other Esri products. Maybe the users could change it in the Parameters? Or the administrators could define the visibilityMode in the configuration file?

It would also prevent a bug that we encounter : when a parent folder containing a lot of child elements is checked by a user in the TOC, ArcGIS Earth load a lot of services all at once. Doing so, some of the services might get broken (or the software might crash).

Thank you.

***Precicions***

We do like that when a child element is clicked, all the parent folders are automatically activated.

It is the other way around that is problematic :
