No Scroll Bars to Create New Project in Existing Project

In Drone2Map 2024.2.0, if you are in an existing project and click Project from the main menu to start a new project, the page looks exactly like the regular project launch page when starting a new project - so thanks for that! But there are no scroll bars on the side to be able to access the 'Create' button presumably at the bottom of the screen, so you cannot actually launch a new project from an existing project.

The only way is to use 'tab' and hope you get the right number of tabs, since it's hidden.

Thank you for reporting this, the behavior happens when the window is resized to be considerably smaller than the recommended resolution. May I ask what is the resolution of the monitor that you are working with?

We don't current have plans to add a scroll bar, but if you can help me understand your use case we can discuss it internally.

Mark, I was running a normal resolution for the my computer, 1920 x 1080. I found a solution to my problem by updating to the most recent video card driver and that seems to have solved the issue. I've tested it a different resolutions and opened D2M with those resolutions and I've not encountered this problem again.

Hi @Dr_Jason_VanHorn ,

I reviewed the behavior again and realized I may have slightly misunderstood you previously. Like you, I don't see the horizontal or vertical scroll bar when a project is open and you resize the window. I do however see them when I first open Drone2Map and resize the window, so they do exist. I talked it over with the team and we'll look into trying to make the behavior consistent between the workflows. Thanks again for point this out!

Great to hear. Yes, on the first project screen the scrolls are there, but not when you try to create a new project within an existing project. Thanks for the revisit. 🙂
