topic Thermal Maps technical issues and patterns in ArcGIS Drone2Map Questions

Good morning everyone,

I am new to Drone2map and I am having some trouble processing thermal maps. I am using a FLIR VUE PRO dataset (avaiable at the link), aquired with the following flight:

Altitude: 30m

Flight speed: 3,9 m/s

Overlap (side and front) 80%

By looking at the map showing the image centers, It can be seen that the camera stopped capturing the images different times during the mission. I've seen on the web that someone has experienced such problem with the same camera, but I haven't figured out how to solve it yet, so feel free to give any kind of suggestion. We've tried to increase overlap (for another flight) to 85% with no great success.

Anyway, after processing the data, such lack of captures doesn't seem to affect the image overlap:

Nevertheless, the resulting map (default processing options) shows differences in temperature as a geometric pattern:

I've alredy tried troubleshooting by increasing the Initial Image Scale and/or the Matching Neghbourhood but it resulted in even more pronounced patterns and punctured maps (about that, I would appreciate any kind of material/information about processing options, how to chose the right ones, how to combine them, pratical examples, etc).

Would be possible to process dataset with both thermal and RGB imagery to use the higher resolution RGB images to compute a detailed 3D model (mesh) and to project the thermal texture on top of it?

Do you have any suggestion?
Thank you in advance!
