Sensor Datasets directory swallowing hard drive

Hello all,

My "%LOCALAPPDATA%\ESRI\Sensor Datasets" directory is stuffed with 18GB of about 334,000 files. It's killing my hard drive space. What can I do about this? I'm not sure where this came from - perhaps I did it myself, I don't know... Can I safely delete?

copy it to a usb and delete it... worst case scenario, you reload it

It was being serious. Move it, see if workflows are impacted and if so, then reload. Files are never deleted except through an overt action... think of Windows updates and other such processes... the files remain until cleared.
