De-authorize extra license on computer?

Somehow in renewing the Desktop Advanced single use license on my laptop, I "used" two of the licenses my organization purchased. There was an error message during creation of the license file. I canceled the operation and restarted successfully, but apparently ESRI thinks I used two licenses. How can I de-authorize one of these licenses on my machine so that it's available for someone else to use?

The easiest option is to go back to the ArcGIS Administrator > Support Operations and Deauthorize. It will list all Single Use licenses you've authorized on your machine. Since you don't know which authorization number was used, just deauthorize all licenses and reauthorize the one you want. If you have two Desktop Advanced licenses authorized, deauthorize both. Then authorize it again using one of the authorization number. Use the other authorization number on the other machine.
