Will Uninstalling ArcGIS 10.8.2 release a borrowed concurrent license

I have having a issue with borrowing a returning licenses.

I have 1 desktop advanced license. My main computer was out of commission for a week so I installed ArcGIS 10.8.2 on my laptop and connected to the license manager. All was working great on my laptop.

Today I got my desktop back and downloaded and installed ArcGIS 10.8.2 connected tot he license manager. Opening ArcGIS administrator thinking I would just return the license but I don't even have the option to return it. The check box isn't filled. it says 0 available. It is still working on my laptop so it has to be connecting somewhere.

I don't use ArcMap on my laptop and have no problems uninstalling it. i am just wondering if uninstalling will free up that license or will it lock it out.

Uninstaller will not free up the license. I would work with ESRI tech support to try to release that license.

Hello Rudy, with a license that was checked out becomes unavailable it may require working with Esri Support and performing a license recovery workflow.
