It depends on what folders you have deleted/ or have you uninstalled it completely. Further details would help. Meanwhile, try installing it using ArcGIS 10.2.2 for Desktop setup media. If you come across the option to repair, do it.

To add to what Jayanta metioned, if you just deleted the folders, check you Recycle folder...you might be able to restore the folders.

Since you posted this in the education folder, is this an education copy on a personal machine? Or was it was installed for you? I you have the install disks or files you should be able to reinstall (or as mentioned, do a repair). If you have issues with the license (getting it to re-register), you may need to talk to the person that initially provided the license (if it is a single-user/standalone license).

It was a student software version downloaded and activated from esri.com

typically if it is downloaded, it is an .msi of .exe that is downloaded and that is what you double-click to install the software. If you can find that file, you should be able to reinstall. But, I'm not familiar with the licensing on student licenses. Someone else on this list may know, or you might need to call tech support it your local distributor if reinstalling doesn't find the registration automatically.

Thanks Rebecca for your time and info, I'll have to call the tech support

to help. It was an .msi file, and i couldn't retrieve the file to reinstall.

If you have deleted everything about your arcgis installation, you can log in your esri account and re-download your copy of arcgis.

Then you can activate your student copy following the steps in your esi account.

I tried to reinstall from esri.com/account, but I dont get the access to

ArcMap 10.2.2 downloads.

I dont get the download option. I still have the EVA code from the ESRI

book I bought for the semester.

More university have the download section for their students. Try to ask to your professor/college if is available a download section in your university. I cannot put external university links
