      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have recently switched to ArcGIS 10.6 and i can not open my former projects from the 10.5 version. i have tried changing the normal.mxt yet it doesn't help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also have a very urgent issue to solve.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;whenever i try to open the Arctoolbox window,Arcmap crashes, as well as when i try to open the search window.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you have any 3rd party extensions, tools etc installed?&amp;nbsp; The upgrade from 10.5 to 10.6 didn't require an uninstall, so there may be an issue if you did that&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;No, I am questioning how you got 10.6.&amp;nbsp; Did you just upgrade but kept 10.5 during the process or did you uninstall 10.5, then install 10.6.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In any event.&amp;nbsp; Do new projects work?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would file a report with tech support since narrowing down what happened is hardly possible if you did a complete removal of anything Arc* and reinstalled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Yes, new projects work but i cant use my toolbox.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and yes i did file the report.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
