I am preparing to ask sys-admins to install Pro 2.4 concurrent license on a network that already has ArcMap. We have been running License Manager 2019.0 for a while. The documentation here

Supported software products—License Manager Guide | Documentation

says this version should support Pro 2.4. But the Pro installation and authorization documentation implies that 2019.2 is required. Isn't that only for higher versions of Pro?

Hello Dana,

License Manager 2019.0 supports ArcGIS Pro up to and including version 2.4.x. License Manager 2019.2 supports ArcGIS Pro up to and including 2.5.x.

2019.0 supported software: Supported software products—License Manager Guide | Documentation

2019.2 supported software: Supported software products—License Manager Guide | Documentation

So for authorizing ArcGIS Pro 2.4, you should be good to go with 2019.0. License Manager is backwards compatible though, so I personally like to run the most recent version of License Manager.

Now if you are going to stay at License Manager 2019.0, take a look at this patch: ArcGIS License Manager 2019.0 License Availability Display Patch . If you have 2019.1 or newer installed, you do not need the patch, but it will be relevant to your current 2019.0 License Manager.

Best,

Megan
