Currently experiencing an error -83: Version of vendor daemon is too old.

FlexNet Licensing Error: -83,147

ArcGIS for Desktop 10.5 cannot connect to previous versions of the ArcGIS License Manager.

We are using a concurrent license and looking to update from 10.5 to 10.5.1. Believe this is a license manager issue but haven't been able to figure it out.

Ensure both ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS License Manager are of same version. Upgrade the license manager if it is of previous version. Download and install PatchFinder.exe from Esri Support 10.5 (10.5.1) (End of the page). PatchFinder will detect if there is any software/patches of older version.

Thanks for replying. I ran the PatchFinder and both the ArcGIS Desktop and License Manager are 10.5.1. I was getting the same error with both being run on 10.5 and updated them in the hopes it would fix the error.
