      <title>Arcmap has stopped working 10.4</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;"&gt; Hello there&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;BR /&gt;I have found a small problem when installing ArcGis 10.4,&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; f&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;or some reason after I installed ArcMap ,&amp;nbsp; the start-up would display&amp;nbsp; “ Arcmap has stopped working “&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; font-size: 12pt;"&gt;However,&amp;nbsp; I found ArcGIS would only open once I had uninstalled the Data Interoperability extension 10.2&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can imagine that using different versions of different ArcGIS components that this could cause this failure. Any reason why you updated ArcGIS to 10.4 but left DataInterop on 10.2?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I uninstalled the Data Interoperability extension and repaired the Desktop install, and ArcMap was once again able to open and function properly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
