topic how to prevent user from posting edits outside workflow in ArcGIS Data Reviewer Questions

Hi All,
i have created a workflow for some edit tasks. i integrated the data reviewer as part of the workflow. the main steps related to my questions are
1- Edit data (where the user performs the edits)
2-review (runs a batch job created using the data reviewer to check the data and returns 0 codes for success, 1 for failure)
3-post (where the validated step are posted into the parent version)
My issue is that the user during the edit data step can use the reconcile button in the versioning toolbar or the post button toolbar thus skipping the review step. Is there a way we can disable these buttons? or a way we can control the visibility of those toolbars in general .
Thanks
Mazen

Sounds like you are using ArcGIS Workflow manager. In your step when launching an ArcMap document, have you considered using a document that has been customized? Check out the following help topic, Fundamentals of saving your customizations. You can hide the versioning toolbar (but not sure if that would prevent them from adding it manually).

Thanks Michelle, but the problem still exists. The user will still be able to toggle the visibility of the toolbar by right clicking and choosing it from the context menu
