Domain Check Error Message

I am getting the attached error message when running a Domain Check on my data. I have tried it on several different feature classes and am consistently getting the error on all feature classes in my geodatabase. Any ideas on what it means? Thanks!

Thank you for your response.

You are running PLTS 9.3.1 GIS Data ReViewer Release build 175 that was released in April 2009. As of today, the latest release for PLTS 9.3.1 GIS Data ReViewer is SP2 Patch1 Build 775.

Please do the following:

1. Install SP2 Build 629 for PLTS 9.3.1 Foundation from the link below:

http://resources.arcgis.com/content/patches-and-service-packs?fa=viewPatch&PID=34&MetaID=1650

2. Install Patch1 Build 775 for PLTS 9.3.1 Foundation SP2 from the link below:

http://resources.arcgis.com/content/patches-and-service-packs?fa=viewPatch&PID=34&MetaID=1736

After you install the latest release, what happens?

Thanks! I installed the SP and patch and still receive the error message, now with the additional information of the feature class name in parenthesis. See attached .png

Do you have any domains with no values?

I looked thru all of the coded value domains in my geodatabase and it looks like they all have values associated with them.

I really appreciate your help. Do you happen to have a FTP site that I could post the data to? I was trying to only export a small spatial extent of the data in order to send you a smaller .zip file, however when I rerun the check on that subset of the data, I no longer get the error.

My file size is 29 mb.

Do you have any invalid subtypes on your features? That would cause the domain check not run on those features.

Yep, I work for the City of Philadelphia.

I ran the subtype check on my feature classes and it appears that all subtypes are valid.

To let other users know, we have communicated outside this forum. You have provided Esri with some data to reproduce the issue. You have identified the cause of the issue. I have reproduced the issue and I have logged the following NIM on your behalf:

NIM066631 - Get error Unable to narrow selection when running Domain Check

You are encountering the following Reviewer Processing Error: 'Domain Check: Unable to narrow selection (wMainLine)' because the Domain Check is having issues with Date Range Domains. If you remove the Date Range Domain from the field and delete the Data Range Domain from the database, you are able to run the Domain Check without error. You are encountering this error at PLTS 9.3.1 GIS Data ReViewer and ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.

I have spoken to the ArcGIS Data Reviewer Product Manager. The Product Manager states they are going to try and get this fixed for Patch2 for PLTS 9.3.1 Foundation SP2. I do not have an ETA on Patch2 at this time.

Patch 2 for PLTS 9.3.1 Service Pack 2 has been released that addresses this issue. The patch can be found here.

We recently tried to run the Domain check - we are now at 10.1 - and we are still getting the same error message. Is this still a bug at 10.1?

I am running ArcGIS 10.1 Data Reviewer for Desktop SP1 Patch4 Build 1751. Using the data you provided to me back in 2011, I do not encounter NIM066631 - Get error Unable to narrow selection when running Domain Check.

What service pack and patch are you running for ArcGIS 10.1 Data Reviewer for Desktop?
