topic Feature on Feature check returns duplicate errors in ArcGIS Data Reviewer Questions

I've completed Managing Data Quality Using ArcGIS Data Reviewer (https://www.esri.com/training/catalog/6181b640334a6063ac66a546/managing-data-quality-using-arcgis-data-reviewer/) course using ArcGIS Pro 3.1. One of checks there is Feature on Feature (Geometry on Geometry). As a result duplicated (or in general multiplied) errors are found. If 2 polygons are overlapping - 2 errors describing the same overlapping area are returned. If 3 polygons are overlapping - 3 errors are there and so on. For me this is redundancy that slows down correction phase and give false impression about number of errors (if 2 polygons are overlapping that makes it one error not two).

1) is this how check is designed to work?

2) if yes - is there any possibility to remove duplicates?

In the above web course, the Feature on Feature check is used to identify overlaps between features in the same feature class (AP_LandUse). In this configuration, it is expected that an error feature will be created for each feature that contains an overlap with features from the Feature to Compare data source.

Removing the overlap should automatically resolve both error features on the next evaluation of the validation rule.

Is there any check that could be used to return only 1 error in the scenario given in the web course? Having 1 overlap marked as 2 (or possibly more) errors is obviously far from optimal.
