      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #548dd4; font-size: 11pt;"&gt;At&amp;nbsp;ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10 a new check called the &lt;A href="http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisdesktop/10.0/help/index.html#/Scenarios_for_checking_valency/01020000005s000000/" target="_blank"&gt;Valency Check&lt;/A&gt; was introduced that will help utilities and transportation users validate point and line connections. The Valency check can find where a fire hydrant is connected to more than one hydrant lateral.&amp;nbsp;To find a hydrant that is not connected to a hydrant lateral or is snapped in the middle of a hydrant lateral, you can configure the &lt;A href="http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisdesktop/10.0/help/index.html#/Finding_geometries_with_spatial_relationships/01020000001n000000/" target="_blank"&gt;Geometry on Geometry&lt;/A&gt; check using the &lt;EM&gt;NOT Touching&lt;/EM&gt; spatial relation.&lt;/SPAN&gt;
