Spatially filter polygons by gouped points

Hi Community,

I have a header category selector set up on a point layer (grouped values) and I have a list of polygons.

I would like the user to be able to select one or more point values and have the list of polygons filtered to include only those polygons whose area contains a point with the selected value.

I have looked around, but am only seeing discussion of the inverse (select a polygon value and filter points). Though since I am also using the Grouped values option in the selector (for a clean list of options from thousands of features) and getting the same 'bounding box' result (see Flash action in screenshot), maybe both scenarios are governed by the same rules.

Any configuration or Arcade solutions would be appreciated.
