I'm experiencing the same issue on my Dashboard. I have two feature layers: One of them has only one polygon with the entire county, and the other feature layer has each district of the county. I've tried different configurations but the problem remains exactly as you described above.

Problems while adding Spatial Filters to Multiple Category Selector in Dashboards

I am facing issues while performing spatial filter on VIIRS Thermal Hotspot layer taken from Living Atlas (livefeed data) using category selectors of USA State and Counties. Can anyone help?

1. I added spatial filter to state layer which works fine

2. But when similarly I filter counties within the state selected , the spatial filter doesn't work. The config remains the same

3. if i select a county directly though, without selecting any state. the filter works fine

Please suggest a solution to this problem. Thanks

In my experience multiple spatial filters work with an 'OR' logic (or union of the polygons) and not an 'AND' logic (or intersection of the polygons). It would be nice to have the option to change this.
