Why won't my two elements sync (based on Date field)

Hi there,

I am trying to sync two elements created from two separate layers in my dashboard based on the date field.

I am wanting to sync a list of points with a serial chart of moon phases based on the date the point was created.

I'm not sure why it isn't working as the date formats are the exact same in each of the two data tables.

Interestingly, I can sync the elements one way by filtering the moon phase chart which filters the list.

But it won't work the other way (filtering the list which then filters the serial chart).

Anyone know why this isn't working? I am wanting to be able to click any point on the list to filter the serial chart.
