    <description>&lt;P&gt;This can be achieved in many ways as long as you have a field to in both the table and the layer that can be used to join them together (supposedly the state name in your case). You can create a category selector based on the categories in the table and in that selector configure an actions that filters the map. Then you define the source field and target field that this action should be based upon.
