Operations Dashboard widget that works across two layers in a map

I have two layers in an Operations Dashboard that I want to report some information on:

1) A polygon layer of Conservation Areas

2) A point layer of Wells that has attribute information about how much water can be taken from the well per day.

I'm trying to use the various widgets to get information about the wells in a selected Conservation Area. For example:

a sum of all the Wells in the selected Conservation Area.
the total amount of water in all the Wells in the selected Conservation Area that can be taken in a day.

From what I can see none of the widgets allow you to interact with information between two layers. You can only get information reported on one layer.

Have I missed something here or are the widgets just meant to work on one layer only?
