This is the first time I've done this as I just started learning about Dashboard yesterday. I've created a widget by following <A href="https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/jshelp/operations-dashboard-extensibility-create-ext-widget.html">this tutorial</A>. That all worked fine and I can add the widget to a dashboard and it works.
