Unable to put serial chart categories in correct order

Hello,

When I create a Dashboard from an existing map, the data categories in a specific field shift. In the map, the legend listed in sequential order (0 - 20 cm, 20 - 40 cm, 40 - 60 cm etc...). As you can see in the attached image, that is not the order in the dashboard. How does one fix this?

are those the actual field designations your data are in? because they are actually in sorted order for text data, you might try having a field holding an integer value describing the smaller value of each bin like "0" would be for the 0-20cm bin, "100" for the 100-120cm bin, this way they will sort properly as numbers.
