Fields blanked out in dashboard edit form

Hi,

I have created a Field Maps app, configuring the form using field maps designer. The data being captured is point data and one of the fields in this form uses a calculated expression to assign a survey area name to the record based on a spatial intersect with a survey area layer (polygon). This works well in the Field Maps, and when I use the same map in ArcGIS Dashboard the data in this field is displays as expected in the table view, however if the edit form is opened up for any record the survey area field is then blank (?).

I have also tried creating a similar dashboard using web experience builder and all data in the form is displayed/able to be edited as expected.

Does anyone know what might be causing this field to be blanked out in the edit form in ArcGIS dashboard?

ArcGIS Dashboards only supports attribute editing, meaning you can't edit the location or geometry of a feature.
