ArcGIS Dashboards Serial Chart Categories from Fields not sorting correctly

I am working in ArcGIS online Dashboards and am trying to create a serial chart using Categories from Fields. I have census data with fields for the percent population in each age group and want to display that in the chart; however the fields are not displaying in the correct order. They appear to be in the correct order in the data and category axis settings, but do not show up in that order in the chart (see image below). I have tried re-ordering the fields, but that does not change the order in the chart. Is there something I am missing? Thanks!

@ToddW_stl Thanks for your response. I saw that blog, but that only works for when you select Categories by "Grouped Values" but not for Categories by "Fields" unfortunately. Any other suggestions?

Its frustrating, because you are given the option to change the order of fields in the data settings, but it does not change the order in the chart.

Hi @LJackson29, you're correct to assume that the order of the data points should match the order in which the fields are listed in the Data tab. Please reach out to Esri Technical Support so that the team can investigate the issue. Thank you!

@DanielReynolds4 Glad I can help you with something now... My layer had been published as a hosted feature layer to Portal and then pulled into AGO - this seemed to be causing the problem. When I published it directly to AGO as a hosted feature layer, the problem was resolved. I hope this helps!
