Grouped Values for Category Selectors in ArcGIS Enterprise Does Not Have Zoom, Flash, and Pan Capability

Hi, everyone!

I have here a dashboard where category selectors are configured as grouped values. I noticed that in the Actions tab, only Filter capability appears. (Please see screenshot below)

By the way, this dashboard is deployed in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 and its source data is a non-hosted feature layer. However, when I published the same data in ArcGIS Online with grouped values category selectors, it has the Zoom, Pan, Flash, and Filter capabilities.

Has anyone here encountered the same issue? Or is this still a limitation of ArcGIS Dashboards in ArcGIS Enterprise?

Hi,

I have encountered this before, though we were using an older version of Enterprise.

We managed to solve this by 'tricking' the element by using the features option and selecting the pan / zoom / flash actions, then switching back to the grouped values option.

Thank you for responding. Yeah, we also used this trick on Enterprise 10.9. However, for this latest version, seems like they already fixed this trick.

That's a shame!

Ours are still working and what I can see online is that this feature is implemented now, it might be worth raising a case with ESRI.

However, are you using a data expression to pull in the data? Otherwise I would try to republish the data and see if a new layer is impacted the same.

It's super annoying when things don't work the way they should!
