One workaround you could consider is creating <A href="https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/create-hosted-views.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">feature layer views</A>, and then setting a <A href="https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/set-view-definition.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">view definition</A>.
