idea Dashboard indicator keep reference value even if user close app in ArcGIS Dashboards Ideas

I noticed that the "reference = previous value" option is only working for updating the data online. I ran a test and added a new record to the feature and the dashboard showed the new record as the "reference: previous value". I can imagine that Esri's logic has been to think only of dynamic data in a panel that never closes. But, I ask how the new HUB template, the city's scoreboard is, since the expected use of this application is not that it stays open all the time, but rather that the citizen when opening has a clear idea if the indicators are getting better or worse
