idea Dynamic Symbology and Legend Recalculation Based on Filters in ArcGIS Dashboards Ideas

We would like maps to dynamically recalculate symbology classifications (such as min/max values, class breaks, or quantiles) based on the currently filtered dataset, so that legends and color ramps update as filters change. Currently, symbology is based on the full dataset and remains static at throughout the experience. In our solutions, we often display county‑level data across the entire United States, with users then filtering down to a specific state. When that happens, the symbology and legend still reflect national‑level ranges, causing many state‑level values to fall into the same color class and making local variation hard to see. Filter‑aware symbology would support true multi‑scale analysis and reduce the need for duplicate or pre‑symbolized layers.
